Features
COS-VCE, a derivative of 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, was developed to improve the instability and high acidity of pure vitamin C that can cause skin irritation. It is a functional ingredient with excellent whitening and brightening efficacy.

- By binding an ethyl group to the third carbon position of vitamin C, this ingredient maintains a stable structure against oxidation factors such as water, air, heat, and light. It is water-soluble while also exhibiting improved solubility in oils, making it a versatile and highly applicable cosmetic ingredient.

Stability
COS-VCE remains stable even when exposed to air at room temperature and maintains its stability for more than 90 days in aqueous and buffer solutions at 40°C.
